Paintings with a Purpose by Salted Studio’s Julie Witten-Land is a collection of artwork made partially from salvaged landfill materials collected during a trip to an impoverished Mexican community. Created in the name of bringing awareness, support and gratitude to the families who helped inspire the art, the paintings incorporate found objects into the colourful and unique finished pieces you will see on display. 50% of sales will be donated to the families who helped source the raw materials for each piece.

Paintings with a Purpose will be exhibiting at Fluevog Calgary’s Peanut Gallery from August 12th to October 7th 2017.
