Hartman is a Canadian artist whose work revolves around utopian environments. To see Hartman’s work is to witness nature through fragments. Hartman invites us to look deeper into nature to inspect the beauty of organic shapes expressed in fluid and intricate woven forms.
“I am examining an intuitive and spontaneous approach to painting and creativity. My current series is evolving from a body of work which sought to explore, in earnest, the art of painting. In a spirit of ‘eager openness’, I am concerned with articulating the vocabulary of color and form. With a reverence for these inherent devices that make up our visual reality, painting enables a journey through cognitive experience, emotion, and sense perception.”
The show will be exhibiting at The Peanut Gallery until September 30th, 2018.
