Sole Music event in Toronto!

Our 686 Queen St store is celebrating Canadian Music Week in style on Thursday, May 10th and you’re all invited to the party! We’re collaborating with a whole line-up of CMW artists to put on an entire afternoon of Sole Music, complete with live performances, light refreshments and plenty of soul. Featured artists will include:

Jesse and the Dandelions (solo set) | 1pm
Alberta-based band leader with great taste in guitars. (Rickenbacker, like The Beatles!)

Jody Glenham | 2pm
One of Fluevog’s very own, Glenham fronts west coast grunge-gaze group, Jody Glenham and The Dreamers. (Forgive us if we get a little carried away cheering for this total Flue-perstar!)

Skye Wallace | 3pm
Toronto-based, ‘dark folk’ artist, her critically acclaimed album Something Wicked, produced by Jim Bryson, was dubbed by CBC’s Stephen Quinn a ‘kick ass record’.

Ellevator | 4pm
Up and coming indie rock/pop band from Hamilton, ON, known for their energetic performances, electric hooks, cinematic timbres, and the haunting and ethereal vocals of frontwoman Nabi Sue Bersche. Ellevator will be performing a stripped down set especially for Fluevog!

Catch any or all of these sets in store on May 10th and get a little taste of what CMW has to offer, in the comfort of your favourite 2nd home. Invite your friends & RSVP on our Facebook event page!
