The Chromedaddy Chronicles at the Peanut Gallery

Christian Van Schepen and Carmen Lamoureux are truly funky renaissance type people living and urban-farming within the confines of SW Calgary!

They are very active in Calgary’s Permaculture (sustainable and renewable methods of urban farming) Community. As busy as they are, they have a great love of photography and love to shoot all things Albertan. Their style of work epitomizes the Rust and the Range, which of course, is the true beauty of rural Alberta. Their mastery of editing and post-production features strongly in the stunning works!

The couple is inspired and influenced heavily by the glory of the rusty old trucks and farm equipment languishing in farmers fields, slowly but inexorably returning to the earth, the equine beauty of the many horses to be found in Alberta’s fields, and the seriously magnificent landscapes Alberta has to offer.

Carmen and Christian also love experimenting on a variety of printing surfaces, from aluminum to acrylic to barnboard. We hope you enjoy the show!

The Chromedaddy Chronicles – No Stone Unturned is featured from October 3rd to November 29th.
