Event: Knitting in the Vog at Fluevog Calgary

Wednesday, June 11th, 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

KNITTING IN THE VOG at Fluevog Calgary

Dedicated fibre arts instructor, Kathleen Long, believes everyone (yes, you!) can easily learn the skills and confidence to pursue the fibre arts projects you want to work on. Kathleen will welcome up to six avid students on Wednesday, June 11th and Wednesday, June 18th for her workshop between 5:30-7:30 p.m.  Each class operates independently, so you can attend both or just one.

June Theme: Knitted Cupwarmer Technique Series
Themed after a special kind of barista beverage, each workshop is a two-hour timeblock and includes a kit of materials to learn and build each cupwarmer*. Cupwarmer workshops are designed to give you the instruction you need to complete the skill-building project – and each project has application to a larger project (i.e., a small knitted cupwarmer will teach you skills for a hat or shawl or sweater).

$45 per person, per class will include wool, patterns and knitting fun in the Flueseum!

Please RSVP at calgary@fluevog.com
RSVP required

*4-4.5 mm straight or double-pointed needles are not included – will be available for purchase.
