Everything I'd hoped they would be
Fit: Nice open toe box which I love. It was tight across the top of my foot the first time I put them on but they're much more comfortable even after just one more outing. Breaking in very nicely.
Appearance: Gorgeous. Exactly what I expected. Great looking sole. Not too chunky but it's definitely there.
Construction: I'm no expert here but I can see the the stitches and I love that. I have no idea whether the box leather (iirc) would stand up to resoling but, I absolutely appreciate that the shoe isn't just glued together.
Overall, they're exactly what I was hoping they'd be. Comfortable. Great looking. Well constructed. Just terrific!
