  • OMG I'm in love

I'm a size 8 in the Mellow family, with a high arch and a bit of a bunion on my right foot. I sized up to 8.5 for these babies, and they are making me so happy. They're funky, cool, badass, fun, serious, and extremely comfortable. Today is their maiden voyage out of the house and they are rockin' my world. So happy I decided to treat myself. The rich, dark green colorway of these boots seems to go with everything and I'm glad I didn't cave to my typical affinity for black. If you're looking for a sign to splurge on the Tank Girls, this is it.

  • So cool... but thick-legged folks beware

I'm gutted. These boots look awesome and I would wear them every dang day... IF they zipped over my "athletic" calves. They don't even come close. I also have wide feet and a high instep, and although I was able to get my foot into the boot (with a little bit of effort), I couldn't even get the zipper started at my arch. It just wouldn't budge. I am so disappointed!

  • She’s back!

I was excited to see the return of the Tank Girl. Such a cool looking boot. I never had the originals so I snapped up a pair of these in the green colourway. I went with my Bond Girl size and they fit great. They go with everything. Short dresses. Long dresses. All day comfy.

  • LOVE THE TANK GIRLS

Sturdy extra-high ankle boot with style!! I bought them a week ago and haven't taken them off yet. (Well, except to sleep.) They are great for walking around the neigbourhood, comfortable for hours. If you're new to platform style shoes, please know they're often more comfortable than heels. I wear a 7-8 in Fluevogs, depending on the style. For these I went with my Bond Girl size 8. Fits perfectly with a light hiking sock. I worried that the chunky look and generous width at the top might be a bit overwhelming for my skinny calves but nope! The Tank Girls look great.

  • Tank Girls reborn!

The entire Fluevog community have been waiting years for this reissue and Fluevog did not disappoint! I'm a street 8 with an average instep and an average to wide width. Many of my Fluevogs are a size 8, but anything pointy or running narrow I usually end up in an 8 1/2. I tried on the 8 1/2 and the 9 at the store. I did not have trouble getting my foot into this boot. The 8 1/2 had the smallest bit of toe touch on one foot - some people don't mind that, but I do a lot of walking and any toe touch would make me grouchy at the end of the day. The width is great, even on my foot with a bunion. I went with the size 9 and added in an insole to make it feel a bit more snug. The green is a rich darker forest kind of green; it works well as a splash of muted color or as a neutral. The leather is sturdy, but has a bit of give to it. I opted for the green, I own the originals in black and that pair is a size 9 as well. Definitely a boot that will last.

  • LOVE!!! WORTH THE WAIT!

I wore these out of the store and got stopped walking to my car asking where I got my boots!

I had been waiting for this style to come back and they did not disappoint. Went with the green, which is a beautiful darker green color. They are really comfortable on, with no issues of fit in the calf area, like some other boot styles. Lots of room in the toe area.

Sizewise- I wear 9's and 9.5's in different vog families and went with the 9.5 in these, which was a perfect fit. My true size is usually a 9.

Life is short-buy the shoes! Or in this case...boots!

  • These boots are everything!!!!

So, I wasn't gonna do it, but how could I resist! These shoes are so perfect! For me they for true to size, but I have fairly short toes. My toe box is wide ish and my arch is stupid high. I got a size 11 and I'm a street size 11... Maybe if my vogs are size 12. These shoes are pricey... But they are well made and made by adults over 18 who get paid a living wage!!!!! Imagine that! They are honestly like walking on air, issue I could wear everyday! Colleen and Roland and Seattle are amazing, just want you all to know!
