The Super Fine Bishop is what John likes to imagine Fluevog royalty would wear. Take all the opulence and none of the pretentiousness that comes with being a queen and you get these chic, buckled loafer heels. Crafted with love in Peru, they combine a Tudor-inspired square toe with our proverbial Pilgrim buckle, a smart little curved heel, and a super fine scalloped topline. Super Fine! Yes indeed you are.

Comfy and pretty shoes, but..
I love the way these shoes look and they are super comfy! However, I'm very disappointed that they are so fragile for the price. The suede material started to fall out pretty much after 2 hours of wearing. I love fluevog shoes, but if you want better quality go with leather.

Flattering and elegant!
At first I thought I would need to return but after a couple of hours they stretched a bit in width and molded nicely to my feet and are now comfortable! In Fluevogs, all depending on the style and cut of the front and toe box, I have purchased 7.5, 8, 8.5, and size 9. Due to these being so long up front I opted for the 7.5 in red. I wear them with very silky think anklet socks and silky thin tights. Perfect! I may come back for the green floral jacquard pair! (My feet are on the slender end of a B width with longer toes than some.

I ordered these Monday and they arrived today (thursday)! #vog_bishop. I take a 7.5, but because these are long in the toe and I have slender feet I went down to a size 7 The buckle is adjustable. They are both stunning and very comfortable. I think these are my new favorites. If you have very slim feet I think you can go down half a size.

Regal Red Showstopper!
This red beauty is indeed a show stopper! Whenever I wear them, I’m stopped again and again. They pair well with dresses, skirts, jeans and trousers. The Bishop is truly Super Fine and versatile. From fancy dress to casual, these shoes are the star attraction! Make sure you have plenty of Fluevog cards with you when you wear them!!

Hester Prynne meets Louis Quatorze
So wearable, it is almost unbelievable. I tried them on in the Chicago store (where I had a lovely confab with the fabulous store manager, whose card I have sadly misplaced). The Bishop is extremely comfortable for a heeled shoe, and actually goes with the crazy, outré pieces in my wardrobe, as well as the more quotidian items like black skinny jeans. The shoe is fashion functional even for all its seeming eccentricity. One cannot walk around in them without being stopped for a discussion about ethical, slow fashion, beauty, John Fluevog, the redness of the patent leather, and etc. So very happy to add this to my much beloved collection.

Compliment Catchers!
I just got home from a vintage clothing auction and I had to hop on here to tell you how many comments I got on my green floral bishops! I must have spelled "Fluevog" twenty times. Your shoes always are conversation starters.
While I'm here, I have to tell you what a delight it was working with Dee at your Haight St store. She took her time with me and was so excited to put me in all my favorite styles I've oogled online. The care in how my shoes were shipped was incredible too (yay candy!). Honestly, whenever I treat myself to a pair of shoes that are truly special, I'll always go with Fluevogs. Quality construction, incredible customer service, and UNIQUE styles! <3 you guys!

So gorgeous
These were the shoes that I couldn’t wait to come into the stores. I snapped them up online because they sold out of stores so quickly. They were just as beautiful as in the look book and so comfortable with the perfect heel. Can’t wait to wear them.

These were the SS 2019 shoes I had been waiting for and I am so happy that they are as comfortable as they are beautiful. They will also be available in black. I found they fit large so I went down a half size.
