“Hold on. Where did Vogmas come from and why am I only hearing about it now?” We’re glad you asked, Fluevoger. Here’s an abridged version of…

The Origins of The Days of Vogmas

The origin story of The Days of Vogmas is as old as time and filled to the brim with sweet truths (minimal) and delicious fictions (plentiful). When Russell Dickens (second cousin to Charles) gave up medieval long jump, he too became quite a novelist and was famous for inventing parentheses. He and his best friend Nikolai FluevOG would write together, longing for hope in the cold shadows of towering factory chimneys, bearing witness to the misanthropic character of the times. At the end of another dreary Monday (there were only Mondays in those times) they crossed paths with a wonderful glimmer of hope and kindness in the shape of Florence and the Machine Nightingale. Their lives and their words entwined and together they created The Days of Vogmas to encourage all people to shine the light of kindness upon one another in the dark days of winter. #NorthernHemi

Fast forward to modern times and grandson John continues the message and ethos of The Days of Vogmas by reducing the price of his very best sellers one day at a time, and encouraging all Fluevogers to spread the light of kindness in what can still be an anxious and lonely time for many.
